The excellent relations between Albania and Israel need to be strengthened through a stronger economic cooperation in the future.
This was the conclusion with which the two Foreign Ministers, Edmond Panariti and Avigdor Lieberman reached the conclusion of a common meeting in Tirana this Thursday.
“Israel values the political relations with Albania since the World War II”, declared Lieberman, also Deputy Prime Minister of Israel, referring to the fact that no Hebrew citizen was handed over to the Nazi Germans from 1939-1944.
“I think that Albania has a very important strategic position in Balkan, and it has great economic potentials. For this reason I invite all Israeli businessmen to invest her. This would be a good incentive for better political relations in the future”.
Lieberman declared that the opening of an Israeli embassy in Tirana would be an important contribution in all directions.
Minister Panariti valued the Israeli homologue, underlining that Albania shares a common view with every important world issue, such as the Syrian crisis or the Iranian problem, and he expressed his trust that the warm Parliamentary relations between the two countries will continue.
